Like many of you, we are cautiously concerned about the occurrence of the COVID-19 (Novel coronavirus).  As we respond to this ever-changing environment, our highest priority to the safety of our team members, customers and community is unwavering.

We remain vigilant and committed to meet the electrical needs of Central Texas homeowners and businesses. Meanwhile, we continue to closely monitor recommendations and protocols established by the World Health Organization (WHO), the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as local health departments.

TECHNICIAN PROTOCOL AND SAFETY MEASURES

As a precautionary measure, Salt Light & Electric has stepped up increased hygiene routines, including hand washing and sanitizing before and after each customer visit. Additionally, our Service Superheroes are avoiding all typical contact with customers, like shaking hands. Our company is also limiting team member gatherings to minimize potential health risks.

Because we’re all neighbors, our team at Salt Light & Electric is doing everything we can to serve Central Texas as a company providing “essential services.” Reliable and safe electrical service isn’t a luxury. It’s deemed as an “essential service”, critical in maintaining your family’s comfort, health and welfare. To add an extra safety measure, Salt has instituted a ZERO CONTACT process that involves minimal, if any, personal contact during our in-home service calls.

WAYS WE ARE STAYING CONTACT-FREE

  • We love conversing with our customers, usually at the kitchen table. But for now, we will try to have those conversations outside whenever possible.
  • A friendly wave hello and goodbye will have to keep us socially distant until it’s safe to shake your hand or give you a hug. We’re sure you understand.
  • We care about our Service Superheroes & you! We’ve put systems in place so that the quality of service we provide remains the same. Our technicians are going to be dispatched directly from their home to yours.
  • Lastly, we’re hitting the basics: frequent hand washing and sanitizing of all tools and work surfaces.

WHAT DO WE RECOMMEND?

We recommend customers follow guidelines issued by the CDC and can be found at https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html
